Sunday 18th January, 25th January, 1st February
We will be running two seminar tracks on Sundays at 6-7pm early in the new year. These will be taught by Bruce Rossington – one of our Mission Partners based in Bristol - and our very own Carolyn Lacey.
Track 1:
Church Without Borders – Celebrating Gospel Growth and Thinking about Gospel Gaps, at Home and Abroad (Bruce Rossington)
Over the course of our three sessions, we’ll see that mission and evangelism are woven throughout the Bible’s big story. We’ll see that the Gospel has already reached the ‘ends of the earth’, but that ‘unreached people groups’ still exist, both around the world and right here in the UK. Who are the UK’s unreached and what is the best strategy for reaching them? Is it still necessary to send missionaries overseas? By the end of the course, I hope you’ll agree with me that this is an incredibly exciting time to be an evangelical Christian and that you’ll have a clearer sense of how you can play your part, either in Worcester or somewhere else in God’s world!
Track 2:
Union with Christ – Celebrating the central truth of salvation and its implications for daily life (Carolyn Lacey)
If you are a Christian, the most important thing about you is your union with Christ. In Christ is where you are now—and it’s where you’ll be 30 billion years from now. It’s a union that is unbreakable, unshakeable and an unending source of joy, peace and assurance. In our 3 sessions, we’ll explore what it means to be in Christ, the benefits that flow from this union, and what it means to live out of this reality—individually and corporately.
