18s - 30s

There is lots going on for those aged 18-30 at Woodgreen. Whether you’re a student or a young worker we’d love to get to know you and welcome you to our church family.

Leaving home and moving to a new city is both an exciting and daunting prospect. It’s a time so many people love as they meet new people, experience new things and learn a lot of important life lessons.
One of the most important decisions you can make is finding a church that will support you during this time of transition. It has the potential to be an awesome time of rapid growth in love for Jesus and working out his plan for your life.
Woodgreen is a large family friendly church, 10 minute drive out of town that would love to help you as you start this new stage of your life. We love Jesus and his Word and want as many people as possible to discover his life-changing grace.

What’s on at Woodgreen for those aged 18-30?

Sunday Services

On Sundays we meet as a church family in the building at 9:30am and 11:30am to hear God’s Word preached and pray together.
We also meet at 6pm for an evening service during term-time.
Please get in touch with us about transport to get to any of our services (see below).

After Eights - 8.00pm on Sundays

16x9AE

We meet regularly on Sunday evenings for discussion and prayer as well as games and chat. We normally meet in the building after our evening service where we'll start by sharing some food together.

Student Welcome Sundays

If you are a new student in Worcester, we would really like to meet you and welcome you to Worcester and Woodgreen. Our Student Welcome Sundays will be in September in the evening service and After Eights.

Student Lifts

We provide lifts to services from the Severn Gate of the University of Worcester St John’s Campus to our Sunday meetings. This 10 minute car journey is a great chance to chat to other students on the way to church.

Student Family Link Up

We also like to organise regular Sunday lunches with members of the church family. You’ll be welcome to go for lunch at someone’s home to get to know them and enjoy some home-cooked food and a comfy sofa!

Weekend Away

Each year we go away together for a weekend in the countryside and have a weekend of superb Bible teaching as well as fantastic food, fun and games. Here’s a picture from our most recent weekend away at Gaines Manor:
