Toddlers at Woodgreen Church is a great way for pre-school children to enjoy playing whilst parents and carers meet and make friends.
Details of the next Dad’s and Toddlers session will be posted here as soon as they are available.
The weekday sessions start with a time of free play when the children are able to use the extensive range of large and small play equipment. This is followed by drinks and biscuits for adults and children (tots’ cups are provided). There is usually some form of organized craft activity followed by further free play and story time. We often sing nursery songs to end the session.

Term starts: Wednesday 7th September / Friday 9th September.
Half term (no Toddler Groups): Wednesday 26th / Friday 28th October
Term ends: Wednesday 14th/Friday 16th December
January 2012 New Term starts: Wednesday 4th / Friday 6th January 2012
Sessions
We usually meet during school term times but not in the part-weeks at the beginning or end of terms.
Wednesdays, 9:30 – 11:30am
Wednesdays, 12:45 – 2:45pm
Fridays, 9:30 – 11:30am
We charge £1.50 per session for the first child and 50p for any additional children.
We have no difficulty in filling our large recreation hall with a maximum of 45 toddlers plus babies and parents. There is a membership roll but we are also able to welcome new members each week.
Important Notice!
Due to the popularity of both the Wednesday and Friday morning sessions, we encourage a limited attendance of one morning session per week. In doing this as many toddlers as possible are able to benefit from the activity we provide.
Dads and Toddlers
Dads and Toddlers meets once a term on a Saturday morning from 9:30 to 11:30 to give the Mum’s a rest while we spend some time with the kids and the other Dads. The usual play equipment is there for the children and we also have a craft activity and both a regular story and a story from the Bible.
We like to ensure we’re up the the job of looking after the children which is difficult without bacon sandwiches, so we always include those as well. And proper coffee.
It’s a great time for socialising and playing in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Are you man enough to join us ? Watch out for website updates or sign up for email updates on the day.
