We have a range of exciting weekly activities (during term time) for school age children as follows in addition to special and family events. Full details are on our calendar or the weekly information sheet available from the foyer.

Sparklers : Age 4 to school year 2, Thursdays, 6 – 6:45pm
The coffee area is open during Sparklers so parents can stay and have coffee during the session.
Good News Club : (school year 3 to 6), Thursdays, 6:15pm – 7:30pm
Our sessions usually attract between 30 to 40 children and they spend the first half hour singing, listening to a Bible story and taking part in a competition. During the second half of the evening they can choose to play games or do a craft activity.
We aim to provide the children with Bible based teaching followed by enjoyable activities in a supportive, safe environment. Parental consent is required before children are admitted to the club.
Soccer Squad : (ages 6 to U9’s), Mondays, 6:15 – 7:15pm
Soccer Squad : (ages 9 and over to U13), Mondays, 7:15pm
Soccer Squad meet on a Monday evening, in term time, in the sports hall. Refreshments are provided.
Boys and Girls of all abilities are welcome to the sessions but they must genuinely want to improve their footballing skills and participate fully in the training routines. The session usually starts with warm-up exercises followed by ball skills. We then move on to short games involving teams of 3 or 4 a side. During the lighter evenings, provided that the weather is favourable, we sometimes take the children to the Countryside Centre to play on grass. Parental consent is required before children are admitted to the club.
